Architecture reviews
Supplier onboarding, compliance workflows, and management for a large US supermarket chain.
Before / Shared monolith, unclear boundaries
After / Independent deployment, clear boundaries
Teams blocked each other in a monolithic codebase without clear ownership boundaries.
Proposed and implemented a micro-frontend solution using React and Webpack.
Teams could develop and deploy their features independently, with minimal shared core code.
Product development
How we would bring account setup, document collection, and activation into one self-service onboarding portal for a B2B logistics platform.
One journey, two connected workspaces
Customer onboarding depends on emailed documents and spreadsheets. Customers cannot see what is missing, and operations teams spend time chasing information instead of activating accounts.
We would map the onboarding journey with customers and operations, then build a guided portal with saved progress, accessible forms, document status, and a review queue. We would model explicit workflow states and connect both workspaces to the same API contracts, with server-enforced permissions.
The goal is a clear next step for every customer and a single review queue for operations. We would validate the pilot against onboarding completion, time to activation, and support requests before extending the rollout.
Application modernization
How we would modernize an aging field-service frontend while keeping daily scheduling and dispatch available throughout the transition.
Modernize in measured increments
Scheduling, customer records, and reporting share tightly coupled components and inconsistent data access. Changes ripple across unrelated screens, while dispatchers rely on the application throughout the working day.
We would start with journey tests and a dependency map, then introduce feature boundaries, typed API adapters, and reusable form components. We would migrate reporting first, validate it with a pilot group, and progress to scheduling with a rollback path for each release.
The goal is to isolate changes within owned features and retire legacy code gradually. We would compare production errors, critical journey checks, and dispatcher feedback against a baseline before moving to the next workflow.
